What Temperature Should The Oven Be For An Apple Pie?

I would like to thank Dylan from Toronto, Canada for sending us the following question. He asked what temperature should the oven be for an apple pie? This is a difficult question to answer, as you can bake an apple pie at several temperature levels. I generally will bake an apple pie at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius, as that is a great temperature to set if you don't want to stage heat levels. If you need to crisp your pie topping and crust, it's great to bake your apple pie at 390 degrees Fahrenheit, or 200 degrees Celsius for ten minutes, and then lower it to the general baking temperature mentioned above.

I would like to thank Dylan again for sending us this unique question. If anyone has any other apple pie related questions for us, please feel free to send them in to us. We generally respond to all question within 3 business days.
