Preparation Instructions:

I would like to thank Hildegard of Auckland, New Zealand for sending in this scrumptious Swiss apple pie recipe.

First take out a large mixing bowl, and then add in the diced skinless crisp green apples, crushed deshelled unsalted walnuts, white superfine sugar, fresh squeezed lemon juice, real unsalted butter, liquid bees honey, pure liquid vanilla extract, large fresh whole egg, fresh ground cinnamon, fresh ground nutmeg, fine ground table salt, white all purpose baking flour, and baking powder.

Using an electric mixer, rapidly mix these ingredients together until you have a smooth and even pie batter.

Next take out a nine inch glass pie dish, and then grease it with a little butter. Next spoon in the pie batter, leveling it off at the top with a spoon. You will then want to bake the pie at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius for half an hour. When your Swiss apple pie is golden, or you can poke it with a knife and the blade comes out clean, then you know it's finished. Let the pie cool on a wire rack before serving.

This dessert goes well with a tall glass of cold milk. Thanks again for visiting our website.
