To get started, please preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius. Next take out a saucepan, and then add in the fresh skinless cored red apples, white all purpose baking flour, pure vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, fresh squeezed lemon juice, white sugar, and table salt. Heat these ingredients over medium heat, until the sugar melts into a syrup and begins to boil. Back the heat off to low, then let the filling mixture simmer for ten minutes, or until the apples are nice and tender. You will want to stir this filling often, as it will burn left unchecked. Once cooked, remove the saucepan from the stove so that it can cool for at least half an hour.

Next take out a nine inch pie pan, and then line it with the crust bottom. With the crust firmly in place, spoon all of the apple pie filling into the pan, then level it off with the back of your spoon. At this point you will want to top your pie filling with clumps of margarine. Moving ahead, next place your pie crust top over the filling, and then flute the edges where both layers meet.

Lastly slice a couple holes in the top of your pie crust, then glaze it with a little leftover margarine. Slide it into the oven to bake for forty minutes, or until the crust is golden. Thank you for visiting our website.
