To begin, please preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius.

Next take out a large mixing bowl and mix together the fresh skinless chopped red apples, white superfine pure cane sugar, white all purpose baking flour, freshly ground nutmeg, freshly ground cinnamon, and fine ground table salt. Next take out a nine inch pie plate, and line it with the bottom pastry crust layer. Pour the apple mixture into the plate, and then level out the filling. Moving forward, next dot the filling with the cold real unsalted butter, and then secure the top pie crust layer. Flute and bind the edges together, then make several small incisions in the top of the pie so that the filling can let out steam.

You are now ready to bake the pie, so slide it into the oven to bake for fifty minutes, or until the crust is golden, and the apples are tender and juicy.
