1 Premade Double Crust Pie Pastry

2 Twenty One Ounce Can Of Lucky Leaf Apple Pie Filling

2 Tablespoons Of Softened Unsalted Real Butter

1 Dash Of Fresh Ground Cinnamon

1 Dash Of Fresh Ground Nutmeg

Preparation Instructions:

I would like to thank my friend Maxim from Halifax, Nova Scotia for sending us this fast cooking apple pie recipe.

To get started please take out a nine inch pie dish. Line the pie dish with the bottom pastry crust layer.

Next take out a can opener, and then open each can of apple pie filling. Once opened pour both cans of filling into the pie dish, then level out the filling with a spoon. Next dot the filling with the softened unsalted real butter, then sprinkle the filling with the fresh ground cinnamon, and fresh ground nutmeg. Next take your top pastry crust layer, and fit it over the top of the pie filling, binding it's edges with the bottom layer. Once the crust is secure, make several slits in the top of your pie, so that your filling can vent.

Next you will want to bake your dessert at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius for forty minutes, or until the crust is crisp and golden in color.

Serve the pie hot, and then garnish each serving with a cold scoop of vanilla ice cream.
