1 Pinch Of Fine Ground Table Salt

2 Cups Of Light Brown Sugar

2 Tablespoons Of Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice

1/4 Cup Of Cold Unsalted Real Butter

1 Large Fresh Whole Beaten Egg

1 Tablespoon Of Organic Bees Honey

Preparation Instructions:

A relative of mine Maurice from Burbank, California sent me this to die for extra thick baked apple pie recipe.

To begin, please preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius.

Vigorously stir these ingredients together, then place them on the stove over a medium high temperature. Once the sugar melts and begins to boil, lower the heat to low, then let the apple pie filling simmer for seven to ten minutes, or until the red apple chunks are tender and juicy. Next remove the filling from the stove, then let it cool for several minutes, stirring throughout the process.

Next spoon the pie filling into the pan, then dot the filling with chunks of cold unsalted real butter. Next firmly secure the extra thick top pie crust layer, fluting the edges where both the top and bottom layer join.
