To get the recipe rolling along, first you will need to take out a deep dish cake pan, and then lightly grease it with butter.

Next preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius.

Moving down the line, next take out a large mixing bowl, and then gradually stir in the cold unsalted butter, chopped skinless crisp green apples, dark brown sugar, liquid bees honey, uncooked rolled oats, whole wheat baking flour, ground ginger, fresh squeezed lemon juice, fresh ground cinnamon, fresh ground cloves, coarse ground kosher salt, and ground nutmeg.
