1/2 Teaspoon Of Ground Nutmeg

1/4 Cup Of Cold Unsalted Butter

To get started, please preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius. Next take out a large heavy saucepan, and then add into it the finely chopped skinless green apples, fresh squeezed lemon juice, ground cloves, Quaker rolled oats, Hershey's chocolate syrup, white superfine sugar, vanilla extract, kosher salt, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg. Briskly stir all of these ingredients together, then heat them at medium high heat. Stir the chocolate filling until it starts to boil, then place the heat on low, and let it simmer for eight to ten minutes. Once your apple pieces are soft and juicy, remove the saucepan from the stove.

Next take out a nine inch pie pan, and then place the premade crust bottom into it. Pour the still warm chocolate apple pie filling into the pan, then cover it with the crust top. Trim away any excess dough, then bind and flute the edges together. Lastly, make several slits in the crust top, then glaze it with the egg white and cocoa powder.

You can now slide the pie into the oven to bake for forty minutes, or until the outside of the pie crust is golden brown.
