1/2 Cup Of Torani Caramel Sauce

6 Cups Of Fresh Thinly Sliced Green Apples

1/4 Cup Of Crushed Salted Pecans

1 Premade Apple Pie Crust With Top And Bottom

3/4 Cup Of White Superfine Sugar

1 Sixteen Ounce Package Of Whipped Cream

1/2 Teaspoon Of Fresh Ground Cinnamon

3 Tablespoons Of Pure Cornstarch

Preparation Instructions:

I recently received this caramel apple pie recipe from Janet of Whittier, California.

To get the recipe started first you will need to preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, or 205 degrees Celsius.

Next take out a mixing bowl, and add in the white superfine sugar, the pure cornstarch, and fresh ground cinnamon. Stir these ingredients together until you have an even distribution of ingredients. Next add in the fresh thinly sliced green apples, seal off your mixing bowl, then toss it rapidly until the apple pieces are all covered with the batter. Next add your premade pie crust to a pie pan, and then add into it all the fresh made pie filling. Evenly spread out the pie filling, then drizzle the caramel sauce all over it. Sprinkle the caramel with the crushed salted pecans, then fully seal off all the filling with the top layer of crust.

Flute the pie crust edges together, perforate the top layer, then slide it into the oven to bake for one hour, or until the crust looks done. Serve the pie warm garnished with a large spoonful of whipped cream.
