Appleless Apple Pie


22 Nabisco Brand Ritz Crackers

2 Tablespoons Of Softened Real Salted Butter

1 1/2 Cups Of C&H White Superfine Sugar

1 Teaspoon Of The Spice Hunter Cream of Tartar

2 Cups Of Bottled Water

1 Teaspoon Of Organic Ground Cinnamon

1 Nine Inch Unbaked Store Bought Pie Shell

Preparation Instructions:

My dear friend Martha from Newport Beach California gave me this appleless apple pie recipe, as her husband doesn't eat apples.

To begin the recipe please preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius.

Next take out a saucepan, and add in the white superfine sugar, cream of tartar, and bottled water. Mix these ingredients together until they are evenly blended, and then heat them over medium heat. Once the mixture begins to boil, add in the Ritz crackers, then boil all of the contents for two full minutes longer. Stir the pie filling well until it's thick and consistent, then pour it into your unbaked pie shell. Spread the filling out so that it is even, then sprinkle it with cinnamon and butter.

Seal off the pie filling with the top later of crust, then slide it into the oven to bake for thirty five to forty minutes, or until the crust turns a slightly golden color.

Serve the pie warm with a tall glass of cold milk.
